Community Guidelines 

Every community has its own culture and boundaries, and we are excited to create this space for you. It’s also a special place where community builders and those looking to build those spaces are connecting with one another. 

We hope (and would suspect) most of you know how to behave in a community. We expect you will treat this space much like you wish to be treated in your own community. 

However, we also know the importance of strong guidelines, so we would like to share our community guidelines and expectations. 

MyCLI Guidelines 

We embrace diversity in all forms and appreciate varied points of view in a respectful manner. We ask you to extend the same courtesies to everyone participating here. Not everyone comes here with the same level of experience and background, but we assume they come with the best of intentions. To level set, here is what you should know about this space: 

• This a safe space, so there are no dumb questions. 
• Accept everyone has a different skill level 
• We encourage you to react to content to show your support 
• Have fun – but not at the expense of any group or person who isn’t a willing participant 

And to be clear, here are some things we will not permit in the community: 

• Posts or links to offensive or inappropriate content or content intended to be inflammatory, not safe for work (NSFW) content or any content that promotes or encourages illegal activities. 
• Posts or links to copyrighted material unless you have the right to do so and with proper attribution. 
• Posts or links to content that violates any person’s privacy rights. 
• Do not use the community for self-promotion, solicitation, or advertising of your business unless you have approval from our team or there is a legitimate reason to share that info in a discussion. 
• Do not solicit community members privately for their personal contact information for any reason. 
• We will not tolerate any creepy or unwanted connections to members. 

We also reserve the right to immediately remove any posts that do not conform to our guidelines without any warning. We also reserve the right to temporarily or permanently ban any member who violates these rules.

In short, what we ask, is you use your common sense, treat others as you expect to be treated and help us build a great community experience for everyone.
